Inniu

A generally dry start today with frost and some mist patches in Leinster and Ulster. There will be some bright spells this morning but with plenty of cloud overall. Scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle will spread eastwards over the country during the course of the afternoon, possibly turning to sleet on the hills in north Ulster. A clearance will follow from the Atlantic later this evening. Highest temperatures will range from 5 to 10 degrees, coldest in Ulster, with moderate southerly breezes.

Anocht

Any lingering rain or drizzle will clear from east Leinster early tonight. It will become largely dry and turning cold with frost forming in some areas as skies clear. Lowest temperatures of zero to +3 degrees in generally light westerly or variable breezes which will allow a few fog patches to develop.

Amárach

A dry start on Wednesday with some hazy sunshine across the eastern half of the country in the morning. However, cloudier skies in the west will extend across the country by midday as rain develops in Atlantic coastal areas. Rain will then extend eastwards across the country on Wednesday afternoon accompanied by strong and gusty southerly winds. Highest afternoon temperatures will generally range from 6 to 11 degrees, coldest in Ulster and mildest in Munster.
