Rain in the southwest and west will spread to all areas early tonight. Becoming breezy also with fresh to strong southerly winds.


Tonight will be breezy with further outbreaks of rain, persistent and heavy at times. The rain will clear most eastern and southern parts by dawn. Lowest temperatures 8 to 11 degrees. Fresh southerly winds will be strong and gusty on exposed coasts.


Wednesday will be a windy day with occasional light rain or drizzle. The rain will be persistent and heavy at times in the west. It will stay mostly cloudy throughout the day with fog on some hills and coasts. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees. Fresh to strong south to southeast winds will be up to gale force on Atlantic coasts.
