A damp start for many today with rain and drizzle over the eastern half of the country clearing into the Irish Sea through the morning. Scattered showers and some bright spells will follow from the west, with showers turning heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms possible. Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees in a light to moderate southwesterly breeze.

Remaining mostly cloudy tonight with showers becoming more isolated and occasional clear spells developing. Patchy rain and drizzle will push into the west by morning. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in moderate southwest winds.

Amárach

Tomorrow will be dull and breezy with rain and drizzle in the west becoming widespread through the morning. The rain will become more confined to the southern half of the country in the afternoon with some heavy falls possible later. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will be strong at times on coasts. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.
