Continuing wet and windy with outbreaks of rain gradually clearing to the northeast through the evening with showers following from the southwest. South to southeast winds will be fresh to strong and gusty with gales on coasts.

Early tonight, any lingering rain in the northeast will clear. The rest of the night will bring clear spells and with scattered showers, some heavy. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees, with fresh strong southerly winds decreasing moderate to fresh overnight.

Amárach

On Friday morning, rain will spread northeastwards and will mainly affect the eastern half of the country. It will clear to the east in the afternoon with sunny spells and showers following. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with moderate to fresh southerly winds.
