Anocht

Lingering showery rain will affect parts of Ulster and Leinster early tonight, but otherwise it will be dry under broken cloud. Scattered outbreaks of rain will gradually move into Connacht and Munster overnight, turning heavy or thundery in places. Some mist and fog patches across the country too, in mostly light southerly breezes. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees, coolest for Ulster and Leinster.

Amárach

Generally dry early Sunday morning across north and northeast counties. However, showers or longer spells of rain will become fairly widespread by late morning. These will be very heavy at times with thunderstorms and localised flooding possible. Some intense downpours may fall in a short space of time with some sunny spells also. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, with mostly light to moderate variable breezes, gusty at times around heavy showers.
