Scattered showers will become more widespread this afternoon, a few of them heavy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms in the west and north. More persistent rain will develop in the south-east. Highest temperatures of 12 to 17 degrees, with mostly light southerly breezes, veering northerly through the day.

Many areas will become dry tonight, but outbreaks of rain and drizzle will persist in the east and south-east. There'll be a mix of cloud and clear spells at first, but areas of mist and fog will develop overnight. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees, with light northerly or variable breezes.

Amárach

Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, drizzle and mist over the eastern half of the country, limited bright or sunny spells with showers further west. Some of the showers will turn heavy in the south-west later. Highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees, coolest in the east, with light to moderate north to north-east breezes.
