Most areas dry today with just isolated showers - mainly across Ulster and north Leinster. Sunny spells will gradually break through as the day goes on. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees in a mostly light northwest breeze.

Dry tonight under broken cloud. Later tonight, the odd spot of drizzle may show up along the Atlantic seaboard. A little cooler than recent nights with lowest temperatures of 7 to 13 degrees in just light variable breezes.

Amárach

Much of the eastern half of the country will stay fully dry on Saturday with warm spells of sunshine. Becoming cloudier elsewhere though with some rain and drizzle slowly developing, mainly in west and northwest areas. The odd heavy burst may occur later. Highest temperatures of 17 to 23 degrees in a light to moderate southwest breeze.
