Wet and windy today as rain moves south-eastwards over Ireland. Rain will clear slowly to the south-east through the afternoon with sunny spells and isolated showers following. Cloud and patchy drizzle in the south-west this evening. Fresh, gusty southwesterly winds will veer westerly as rain clears and gradually moderate, but will be strong for at time in Ulster. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 or 14 degrees.

Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells. There'll be a few scattered showers in northern parts. cloudier weather in the south-west will extend over Munster overnight. It'll become cloudier overnight from the west. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees in mostly moderate westerly winds, fresher in Ulster and north Connacht.

Monday will start with some bright or sunny spells in Leinster and Ulster. Cloudier conditions over Munster and Connacht will extend to all areas in the afternoon. There'll be some patchy drizzle in the west. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees, with mostly moderate west to northwest winds, fresher in the north.
