The rain will be heaviest and most persistent in parts of the west and north overnight, with lighter and patchier falls elsewhere. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with south to southwest winds increasing moderate to fresh and gusty, strong near coasts.

Windy, damp and mostly cloudy tomorrow with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle, heavy for a time early on in the north and northwest. Some temporary bright or sunny spells will occur during the afternoon, mainly across parts of the north and east. Fresh to strong and gusty southwest to west winds will ease somewhat through the day. Mild and humid, with highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees.
