Temperatures will not fall below 11 to 16 degrees with southwesterly winds increasing strong and gusty, reaching gale force along western and northern coasts by morning.

Bank Holiday Monday will start off wet and windy across the country with strong and gusty southwest winds, veering westerly, reaching gale force along western and northern coasts. The rain will clear eastwards through the morning with sunny spells and scattered showers to follow, most frequent in the north and northwest. Winds will only slowly moderate through the day with highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, coolest in the north and northwest.
