Tonight will be largely dry with scattered wintry showers mainly confined to the west and northwest. Clear skies will lead to another very cold night with widespread frost and the risk of some icy patches. Lowest temperatures of 0 to -3 degrees in a light northerly breeze.


Tomorrow, Sunday, will be cold and bright with spells of sunshine and scattered showers of rain or sleet. Cloud will gradually build over the northern half of the country through the afternoon, bringing patchy outbreaks of rain to Connacht and west Ulster. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees, coldest over Ulster, in a light to moderate north to northwest breeze.
