This morning, rain will clear eastwards. Sunshine and showers will follow for the rest of today. Some of the showers will be heavy or prolonged with a chance of thunder, hail and spot flooding, especially over the western half of the country. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with moderate to fresh south to southwest winds, strong near south and west coasts.

Tonight, showers will continue, some heavy and merging to longer spells at times especially in the west and north. Showers will gradually ease overnight and become more isolated by morning. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds.

Amárach

Thursday will start off with sunny spells and well scattered showers. Cloud will build from the southwest. Rain and drizzle will spread northeastwards through the late afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees, in light to moderate southwesterly winds.
