Scattered showers will move northwards across the country through the day, some turning heavy, and there'll be occasional sunny periods. Highest temperatures of 7 to 15 degrees from north to south, with moderate to fresh northeasterly winds in the north and light to moderate variable winds elsewhere.

Early tonight will be mainly cloudy with scattered showers, some heavy. Overnight, rain and drizzle will move up from the south, mainly affecting the south and east. It'll become breezy with a moderate to fresh northeasterly wind developing. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 11 degrees, coldest in Connacht and Ulster.

Tomorrow will be quite windy with fresh to strong northeasterly winds. The day will start rather cloudy with some rain or drizzle, mainly in the south and east. It'll become dry with clear spells in parts of Ulster and north Connacht, but for the rest of the country it'll be cloudy and wet, with highest amounts of rainfall in the south. Highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.
