Most areas will be dry this evening with a mix of cloud and some sunny intervals. There'll be a few showers, mainly in the west and north, and outbreaks of rain or drizzle will develop in the southwest later in the evening. Southwesterly winds will be moderate.

Cloud and outbreaks of rain in the south and southwest will extend northwards to most parts tonight, though some parts of Ulster may remain dry until morning. The rain will be heavy in places overnight, especially in the South, with the odd thundery downpour possible. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.

A wet start on Thursday with widespread rain to begin. The rain will become patchier and more intermittent during the day and a few limited bright spells may develop. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees in moderate south to southwest winds.
