This afternoon, persistent or heavy rain will continue over north Leinster and the east Ulster with localised flooding. Rain will gradually clear to the northeast this afternoon and evening, with bright spells and scattered heavy showers following the west, along with isolated thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees with light westerly breezes.

Anocht

Tonight, any remaining showers will die out and it will become dry with clear spells. However, cloud will increase from the west overnight with some light rain and drizzle moving in over Connacht, Munster and west Ulster. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in light westerly breezes, backing southwesterly.

Amárach

Sunday morning will be mostly cloudy with patchy light rain and drizzle spreading eastwards. Brighter weather and a few showers will follow from the west for the afternoon and evening and some sunny spells will develop. Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees with light to moderate southwest to west winds.
