Today will be dry in most areas with good sunshine. It will become cloudier in the southwest and some showers will move up over Munster this evening, a few possibly heavy or thundery. Highest temperatures of 14 to 20 degrees, warmest in the west and coolest along east and south coasts with mostly light to moderate southeasterly winds.

Anocht

Tonight, showers over Munster will extend northwards over Connacht and parts of the midlands, a few possibly heavy or thundery. It will continue dry over much of Leinster and Ulster, where it will be coldest with temperatures falling to between 1 and 4 degrees. Milder in the west and southwest, with lows of 5 to 9 degrees.

On Saturday morning, a few showers will move up over Leinster and Ulster. They'll die out by noon. Overall, it will be mainly dry with a fair amount of cloud and some sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees over the western half of the country and between 17 and 21 degrees further east with light variable breezes.
