Any lingering rain or drizzle will quickly clear the east this morning. Sunny spells and a few showers will follow for the day, mainly over western and northern counties. Cloud will thicken from the southwest later with rain and drizzle developing in southwest Munster towards nightfall. Highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees with light to moderate southwest winds.

Anocht

Cloud and outbreaks of rain in the south and southwest will extend northwards to most parts tonight, though some parts of Ulster may remain dry until morning. The rain will be heavy in places overnight, especially in parts of Munster. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.

Amárach

A wet start with widespread rain to begin on Thursday, bringing a risk of spot flooding in places. The rain will become patchier and more intermittent during the afternoon with more widespread and persistent rain returning into the southwest in the evening. Mostly moderate southerly winds will become lighter in the west and northwest later in the day. Highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees.
