A cloudy and dull start with outbreaks of rain in the west and fresh southerly winds. Dryer in the east with cloud and just limited sunny spells. The cloud will remain for much of the day with patchy rain drifting further east across the country during the afternoon and evening. Mild with highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees.

Anocht

Patchy rain will gradually clear eastwards later in the night with cloud breaking up and clear spells continuing overnight. Some mist patches forming too as winds fall light and lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.

Amárach

Cloud will build in the morning head of rain moving in over Connacht and Munster early in the morning with some heavy and persistent falls at times too. Rain will gradually spread east during the afternoon as fresh and gusty southerly winds change westerly. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees.
