Widespread showers will continue for a time early tonight but will gradually ease and become more scattered overnight, mainly affecting the west and north. Elsewhere there will be long dry and clear spells. Cold with lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in mainly moderate westerly winds, fresh on northern and western coasts.


Scattered showers in the west and north will become more isolated early tomorrow, leaving a mostly dry and sunny morning. Cloud will increase from the west during the afternoon with rain and drizzle developing on western coasts during the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, mildest along southern and southwestern coasts. Moderate westerly winds will back southerly during the day.
