Dry in the east and south at first, but cloudy, misty weather, with rain, already over parts of Ulster and Connacht will become widespread overnight, with some hill and coastal fog also. The rain will be persistent and some times heavy in northern areas, but lighter and more intermittent in the south. A humid night, with lowest temperatures 11 to 14 C., in moderate southwest breezes.


Tomorrow Friday will be mostly cloudy. The day will begin misty, with outbreaks of rain, much of it light. But drier weather developing over Ulster later in the morning will extend slowly southwards during the afternoon and early evening. The best of any sunshine will be over Ulster later in the afternoon. Top temperatures 17 to 19 C., generally, but locally up to 21 C., in parts of east Munster and south Leinster. Moderate southwest winds will become northwesterly after lunch.
