It'll be mainly dry and bright for the afternoon with good spells of sunshine and with just a few well scattered showers, mainly in the west and north. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with moderate to fresh northwest to north winds, easing in the evening.

Anocht

A cold night with long clear spells. It will be dry apart from a few isolated showers, mainly in Ulster. Lowest temperatures of -1 to 4 degrees with some frost and possible icy patches developing, as winds continue to ease, becoming light to moderate northwesterly or variable.

Amárach

A dry cold start to tomorrow with frost in places, but it'll be sunny. It'll stay dry in most places for daylight hours, with the best of the sunshine continuing in the east, but it will gradually turn cloudier from the west through the afternoon and evening. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will push into western and southwestern counties in the evening. Highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees in a light variable breeze.
