Cloudy conditions with the odd spot of light rain and drizzle, will give way to clearer breaks spreading up from the south. Thickening cloud along with further patches of light rain and drizzle will spread from the west and southwest overnight. There'll be areas of mist, and hill and coastal fog too. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees, in light southerly or variable breezes.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle and just limited bright or sunny spells. There'll be some hill and coastal mist and fog around too, especially along the south coast in the evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, coolest in Atlantic coastal areas and warmest in the east, with light to moderate south to southwest winds.
