Becoming mostly dry and clear tonight with remaining rain in the southeast continuing to clear eastwards. Isolated showers, mainly across Ulster, will die out for a time before returning towards morning. Patches of mist and fog will form overnight, especially near southern coastal fringes. Cooler under those clear skies with lowest temperatures of 3 to 8 degrees in light southerly or variable breezes.

Saturday will be a bright, fresh day with sunny spells developing for many. While it will be a mainly dry day for most, a few showers will affect Ulster through the morning and afternoon. Cloud will thicken from the Atlantic towards evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in light southerly breezes, moderate to fresh near Atlantic coasts.
