Dull on Friday with rain and drizzle across southern and western areas, extending northeastwards this morning, arriving into Ulster by early afternoon. Low cloud and mist in places too. However, a clearance to sunny spells and isolated showers will follow into Munster and south Leinster during the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in mostly moderate southeast winds, veering westerly after rain passes through.

Anocht

Lingering rain will affect Ulster and north Leinster for a time tonight. Generally dry elsewhere under broken cloud with some mist patches. A little showery rain will feed into western areas later. Cool with lowest temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees, in light southerly or variable breezes.

Amárach

Some sunny spells across northern and eastern areas early on Saturday where it should remain largely dry for daylight hours. Duller elsewhere with patchy outbreaks of rain, turning heavier later in the afternoon across southern and western counties. The rain will extend nationwide during the evening hours with freshening southerly winds. Some hill, mist and coastal fog too. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.
