And lingering patchy rain and drizzle in the west and north will clear on Friday morning, giving way to a largely dry day with plenty of sunshine developing by the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 17 to 23 degrees, a little cooler in Atlantic coastal areas. Light to moderate west to southwest winds will be fresher early on about northwestern coasts.
