This morning heavy showers with thunderstorms will affect Munster. Today will be a bright, fresh day across Ireland with a mix of sunny spells and showers. Some of the showers will heavy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Highest temperatures 14 to 18 degrees with moderate to fresh southerly winds, decreasing mostly moderate later in the day.

Tonight will become dry in many areas with clear spells as showers gradually become confined to western counties. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with light to moderate southerly breeezs.

Amárach

Thursday morning will be mainly dry with sunny spells. During the afternoon, showery rain will develop in the west and will spread eastward through the late afternoon and evening, heavy at times. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees with moderate southerly winds.
