Generally cloudy this evening with limited sunny spells and widespread showers or longer spells of rain this afternoon, some of which will be heavy. Some thunderstorms too, mainly in the northeast. The showers will gradually ease from the west. Southwesterly winds will be mostly moderate, fresher near southern and southwestern coasts.

Mostly cloudy tonight with well scattered showers. Temperatures will not fall below 8 to 11 degrees with mostly light to moderate south-west to west winds, increasing fresh at times later.

Amárach

A mix of cloud and some sunny spells tomorrow morning with well scattered showers at first, becoming more isolated through the morning. Cloud will thicken later from the south-west with rain and drizzle following towards the evening, extending over Munster, south Connacht and south Leinster by nightfall. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in mostly moderate, occasionally fresh, southwesterly winds.
