Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will linger in Ulster and north Leinster for much of the afternoon as they gradually clear eastwards. Elsewhere will see scattered showers along with some sunny spells breaking through. However, further rain and drizzle will follow into the west later in the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, with winds becoming moderate to fresh westerly.

Becoming mostly cloudy tonight with rain and drizzle developing in Connacht, Ulster and west Munster. Remaining dry in Leinster and much of Munster though. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees, with moderate southerly winds, fresher near Atlantic coasts.

Amárach

A cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, some of which will be persistent and heavy, spreading southeastwards across the country through the morning and afternoon. Drier and brighter conditions will develop in the west later in the evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees, with moderate to fresh southwest winds.
