Generally dull, wet and breezy today with outbreaks of rain, on and off through the day. The rain will be heaviest during the morning and evening, with spot flooding later across some eastern counties. The best of any longer drier spells will occur for northwest counties.
Cool with highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh easterly winds.
Some mist and fog for southwest counties later as the winds decrease light variable here.

Anocht

Wet and breezy across many areas for a time tonight with moderate to fresh cyclonic variable winds. Some drier spells will develop across the southern half of the country but turning misty at the same time too.
Some frost and ice where skies clear also. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 6 degrees.

Amárach

Dull or misty to begin on Sunday with scattered falls of rain, mainly for Ulster and Leinster. Becoming drier into the afternoon but remaining fairly cloudy. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees, in a light to moderate easterly or variable winds, that bit breezier for Ulster to begin.
