Rain will continue to spread southeastwards across the country this afternoon, with drier and brighter spells arriving into the northwest once that rain clears. The southeast will stay largely dry until evening. Highest temperatures 15 to 19 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds.

Anocht

Rain will be mainly light and patchy overnight as it continues to track southeastwards. It will be mainly dry over much of Connacht and Ulster with clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures 9 to 14 degrees in a light to moderate southwesterly or variable breeze.

Amárach

Rain and drizzle will linger across Munster and South Leinster tomorrow while there'll be sunny spells and isolated showers elsewhere, extending to all areas later in the day. Highest temperatures 15 to 18 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.
