TODAY - Sunday 24th June

Fine and mostly sunny today, Sunday, with any early mist patches soon clearing. Maximum temperatures will range 19 to 26 degrees, warmest inland. Light and variable winds with moderate onshore sea breezes around the coast.

TONIGHT - Sunday 24th June

Dry and mostly clear tonight with just patchy high cloud. Lowest temperatures will fall to between 7 and 11 degrees Celsius in light variable breezes.

TOMORROW - Monday 25th June

Tomorrow, Monday, will be another dry, warm and mostly sunny day. Variable high cloud will make the sunshine a little hazy at times. Maximum temperatures will range 20 to 27 degrees Celsius, again warmest inland, with cooler temperatures near the coast due to onshore sea breezes.

National Outlook

High pressure and settled conditions will persist throughout the coming week, with warm, dry and sunny conditions countrywide.

Dry and mostly sunny conditions by day from Tuesday to Friday inclusive, with daytime highs rising into the mid to high twenties quite widely. Fresher near coasts with afternoon sea breezes. The nights will be warm also, with minimum temperatures in the low to mid-teens.

There are indications that the influence of high pressure will weaken from around next Saturday onwards with an increasing threat of Atlantic frontal systems encroaching from the northwest and/or thundery outbreaks moving up from south, though the exact details and timings of such events remain highly uncertain at this stage.
