TODAY - Friday 19th April

Brightening up from the north this afternoon with good spells of sunshine developing. Lingering patches of light rain and drizzle will gradually clear southwards and it will turn mostly dry. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees with light to moderate northwest winds.

TONIGHT

Dry and mostly clear tonight with light winds or calm conditions allowing some mist and fog patches to develop. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees, coldest in Ulster and the midlands, with a touch of grass frost forming.

TOMORROW - Saturday 20th April

Dry tomorrow with widespread spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees generally with light variable breezes. However, it will be a little cooler near coasts where sea breezes develop.

National Outlook

Dry and clear with light winds Saturday night. Lowest temperatures 2 to 5 degrees.

Dry and mainly sunny on Sunday. Highest temperatures 15 to 18 degrees with light variable winds.

Dry with clear spells Sunday night. Lowest temperatures 3 to 5 degrees with light winds.

Dry with sunny spells on Monday. Highest temperatures from 12 or 13 degrees in the north, up to 17 degrees in the south, light variable breezes will become light to moderate northerly later.

Dry with clear spells Monday night. Lowest temperatures 4 to 6 degrees in light northerly breezes.

Mainly dry with some sunny spells Tuesday with isolated patches of drizzle. Highest temperatures 13 to 15 degrees in light to moderate northerly breezes.

The further outlook to midweek next week suggests more unsettled conditions will return with rain at times and temperatures falling back to 10 to 12 degrees in the afternoons.
