Through the morning cloud will increase with rain and drizzle moving into the west and south-west by afternoon, and gradually spreading eastward. The rain will be heaviest across west Connacht with a chance of spot flooding. Cooler with highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees, with freshening south-west winds.

Tonight

A wet and breezy start tonight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle and moderate to fresh southwesterly winds. Rain will become confined to the south and southwest overnight with clear spells and scattered showers following elsewhere as winds ease and veer westerly. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, it will become cloudier and breezier as outbreaks of rain and drizzle spread northeastwards across the country with moderate to fresh westerly winds. The rain and drizzle will clear to sunny spells and scattered showers in the afternoon, with winds slowly easing. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 or 14 degrees.
