Outbreaks of rain will gradually extend from the west overnight, turning heavy and possibly thundery at times. Rather breezy, in a moderate to fresh south to southwest wind. Mild with lowest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow

A generally wet start to Friday with further heavy bursts of rain and spot flooding. By late morning, it will brighten up across the western half of the country with sunny spells and well scattered showers following. Staying rather dull elsewhere with further outbreaks of rain, mainly confined to eastern fringes by evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees Celsius, in mostly moderate westerly breezes; southerly winds will be fresher up along Irish Sea coasts early on though.
