Dry at first this morning with sunshine, and any frost or ice soon clearing. However, scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle will move into western parts early this afternoon, slowly extending north-eastwards through the day. Drier weather with some sunny spells will develop across western counties later. Highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees. Light southerly breezes at first, will increase moderate to fresh.

Tonight

Dry and clear for a time this evening and early tonight. However, wet and breezy conditions will feed up across the country overnight. Turning misty in places too. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees in a freshening southerly wind.

Tomorrow

Sunday will begin dull and breezy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Becoming windier through the day with heavier spells of rain too, especially for southern and western counties with spot flooding. Highest temperatures of 10 or 11 degrees with a strong and gusty southerly winds developing through the day, and gales along southern fringes.
