This evening will bring further fairly widespread heavy showers, occasional thunderstorms and localised flooding, though it'll be drier in western and southwestern coastal parts. There'll be occasional sunny breaks too. Winds are mostly light to moderate variable, occasionally gusty in showers, becoming mainly west to northwesterly along the west coast and freshening a little.

Becoming rather breezy tonight, with scattered showers becoming more isolated through the night and with clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees, with west to northwest winds increasing moderate to fresh and gusty, strong along Atlantic coasts.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Monday, will bring a good deal of dry weather for much of the day with some bright or sunny spells for a time and just a few isolated showers. Cloud will increase through the day with more in the way of showers later in the afternoon and evening, mainly in Ulster and Connacht. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees in mostly moderate, occasionally fresh, westerly winds, easing light to moderate southwesterly later.
