Tonight will bring a mix of clear spells and scattered heavy blustery showers, mainly affecting Ulster and Connacht, some of hail with the odd wintry fall over higher ground. Cloudier conditions with patchy rain and drizzle will arrive into Connacht and southwest Munster towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees, coldest early on, with rather brisk westerly winds becoming southwesterly and moderating.

Tomorrow

Monday will be a mostly cloudy day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading northeastwards during the morning, heaviest across Connacht and Ulster. It will become drier through the day with some sunny spells breaking through. The odd spot of drizzle will still occur though with hill, mist and coastal fog in places. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a freshening southwest breeze.
