National Forecast

30 December 2025 08:55

Today

Rather cloudy for a time today and while many areas will hold dry, there'll be a little light rain and drizzle, mainly in the east and south. Some bright or sunny spells will develop through the afternoon, the best of these further north. Highest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in a mostly light east to northeast breeze, moderate at times in the south and east.

Tonight

Cold and dry tonight with a mix of cloud and clear spells, coldest and clearest in the north and northwest. Lowest temperatures of -4 to +1 degrees generally with frost and ice developing on untreated surfaces. Light variable breezes or near calm conditions will allow some fog or freezing fog to develop. Cloudier conditions in the south and east will keep temperatures slightly higher and may bring a little drizzle.

Tomorrow

Variable cloud and sunny spells tomorrow with fog clearing through the morning. Generally dry apart from the chance of a little drizzle, mainly near coasts. Highest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees. Light variable breezes at first will gradually become westerly, increasing moderate in the north towards the evening as showers begin to move into northern coasts.
