TOMORROW - Monday 8th June

A bright start to the week on Monday with sunshine. Showers will spread from the west.Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees in moderate west to southwest winds.

National Outlook

A mobile Atlantic regime will bring a continuation of unsettled weather with rain or showers each day. Temperatures will be cooler than average for the time of year, but should improve later in the week.

Tuesday will be a day of showers and sunny spells, again some heavy, with the chance of thunder possible. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees, mildest in the southeast, in moderate west to north-west winds, fresher on exposed coasts.

Wednesday: Wednesday will start off bright for most with isolated showers. However, showers or longer spells of rain will affect Ulster in the morning. Cloud will increase throughout by the afternoon, bringing patchy rain and drizzle, easing off later in the day. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in moderate westerly winds, fresh at times on west and southwest coasts.

Thursday: A wet start with rain clearing east through the morning, falling heavy and persistent at times. Scattered showers will follow in behind through the afternoon, heavy at times but with the occasional sunny spell breaking through. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees in moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty south to southwest winds, becoming moderate west to south-west later..
