Rain will linger in the northeast for a time this evening but it will be dry elsewhere with bright or sunny spells moving into the south and west of the province later. Moderate westerly winds.
Tonight will be dry and cloudy with limited clear breaks. Isolated patches of drizzle will develop towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate southerly winds.

Tomorrow will be another dull day. After a dry start for most, patches of rain and drizzle will spread from the west, becoming more persistent through the afternoon. The rain will occasionally turn heavy tomorrow evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in moderate southwest winds, fresh near southeast coasts.
A mobile Atlantic regime will bring a continuation of unsettled weather with rain or showers each day. Temperatures will be cooler than average for the time of year.
Sunday night: A mix of clear spells and showers over the west and north, heavy at times, with cloudier conditions further east where outbreaks of rain and drizzle will linger for a time early in the night before clearing out over the Irish Sea. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in moderate southwest to west winds.
Monday: A bright start to the week on Monday with sunshine and showers, occasionally falling heavy. Towards the evening cloud will start to increase from the west with spells of rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in moderate west to southwest winds, fresh along west coasts.
Tuesday: Tuesday will be similar with a day of showers and sunny spells, again some heavy, with the chance of thunder possible. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, mildest in the south, in moderate to fresh westerly winds.
Wednesday: Wednesday will start off bright for most with isolated showers. Cloud will increase throughout the afternoon, bringing spells of rain for the evening and overnight. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in moderate westerly winds, backing southerly later. Fresh at times on west and southwest coasts.
Thursday: A wet start with rain clearing east through the morning, falling heavy and persistent at times. Showers will follow in behind later through the afternoon, heavy at times with the occasional sunny spell breaking through. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty southwest winds.
Next weekend: Showers will continue across the weekend, becoming more isolated and easing through Saturday and Sunday where we will see more in the way of sunny spells developing.
