Staying largely cloudy in most areas this evening with patchy rain and drizzle clearing westwards with mist lingering in places. A few bright or sunny spells developing in eastern parts before dark. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees, coolest in Munster, in mostly light easterly or variable breezes, moderate at times along eastern and southern coasts.

Mostly cloudy tonight with patchy rain and drizzle, mainly in the northwest at first, gradually clearing northwestwards. Further patchy rain and drizzle will feed up from the south and southeast affecting mainly southern counties with drier conditions further north. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees, coldest in the southwest. Patches of mist and fog also, in mostly light easterly breezes.

Tomorrow

Mostly cloudy tomorrow, Tuesday, patchy rain and drizzle, mainly in the south, easing in the afternoon. Overnight mist and fog will be slow to clear in the morning with limited bright spells developing through the day. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in light, occasionally moderate, northeasterly breezes.
