Scattered heavy blustery showers and winter sunshine today, with showers mainly confined to west and northwest counties this afternoon. Fresh to strong and gusty southwest winds will gradually ease though the day. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.

Tonight

Dry and clear for much of tonight, however some well scattered showers will begin to feed up from the southwest later. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees. South to southeast winds will freshen later.

Tomorrow

Saturday will be rather windy to start with scattered showers. A band of rain in the southwest will slowly push northeastwards during the day with scattered showers following from the west. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees. Brisk southeast winds will ease off through the day but with some mist in places later too.
