26 September 2026 20:30

Tonight

Mostly dry at first tonight with clear spells and well scattered showers. Cloud will build from the southwest with rain moving up from the south and in from the west overnight, reaching most areas by morning. The rain will be heavy or thundery in places, especially in southern areas, with localised flooding possible. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees with south to southeasterly winds increasing moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty, strong in some coastal parts, especially in the west and south.

Tomorrow

A wet start tomorrow with outbreaks of rain, heavy or thundery in places. A clearance to sunny spells and generally just isolated showers will develop in the southwest in the early morning, extending to the northeast by mid-afternoon. Later in the afternoon and evening, there'll be more in the way of showers in parts of the north and northwest, some heavy. Moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds, stronger at times near southern and eastern coasts, will veer westerly as the rain clears, and will ease in the evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees.
