Drier and brighter conditions will develop in the west in the evening. However, it will remain wet in eastern parts with some heavy downpours. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees, with moderate to fresh southwest winds, easing in the west later.

Tonight: A mix of clear spells and showers over the west and north, heavy at times, with cloudier conditions further east where outbreaks of rain and drizzle will linger for a time early in the night before clearing out over the Irish Sea. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in light to moderate southwest to west winds.Some mist patches forming.

Tomorrow

A bright start to the week on Monday with sunshine and showers, occasionally falling heavy, especially in the north. More prolonged showers spreading from the west later. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees in moderate west to southwest winds, fresh along west coasts.
