Today

Cloud and a narrow band of showery, and sometimes heavy, rain over Ulster and Connacht will move southeastwards over the country today, becoming lighter and more patchy. Sunny spells and well scattered showers will follow. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees in mostly moderate westerly breezes, a little fresher near the north coast.

Tonight

Showers will clear early tonight and patches of mist and fog will form as winds become light and variable. Cloud will increase across the southwest overnight, bringing some patches of rain or drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 12 degrees, staying mildest in the southwest.

Tomorrow

Cloud and patchy rain or drizzle will extend northeastwards across the country tomorrow morning and it'll become humid. More persistent rain will develop in the west and north during the afternoon and evening, while in the south and east it will become drier with some sunny spells developing. Highest temperatures will range between 16 degrees in the north and 22 degrees in the south, with a light to moderate southerly wind.
