A wet night for most with widespread rain, turning heavy at times with potential for localised flooding. A clearance will move into western and northwestern areas towards morning. It'll become milder for a time before cooler conditions develop behind the rain. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty south to southwest winds, strong near coasts, easing light to moderate southerly or variable by morning.

Tomorrow

Monday will start wet in the south and east, with heavy rain breaking up into showers and bright spells developing for a time. It'll be largely dry at first in the west and north, with a mix of bright spells and isolated showers. Further showers or longer spells or rain will spread from the west during the afternoon, however. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in light to moderate southwest or variable winds, increasing fresh to strong near southern coasts during the afternoon.
