Mostly cloudy this morning with patchy mist and drizzle and areas of fog near the south coast in light, mainly southerly breezes. Becoming brighter this afternoon, with spells of sunshine developing in many areas, especially for the evening, although mist patches will linger near the south coast. A few showers may bubble up later this afternoon too, mainly in parts of Leinster and east Ulster. Highest temperatures of 19 to 25 degrees warmest across the midlands and east, with winds becoming light to moderate south to southwesterly and freshening later near some western coastal parts.

Tonight

Becoming mostly cloudy again tonight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading from the west. Areas of mist and fog too. Humid with temperatures falling no lower than 14 to 17 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.

Tomorrow

Mostly cloudy tomorrow, Monday, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most persistent and heavy in the west and north. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in the west and northwest, 19 to 23 degrees elsewhere with light to moderate southerly winds becoming light westerly or variable later.
