Today

Continuing wet across much of Munster, Leinster and east Connacht this evening. The rain will be heavy and persistent at times, with the chance of thunderstorms and the potential for surface flooding. Drier elsewhere, but still with isolated showers developing, some of which could be heavy with thunderstorms. All with light east to northeast winds.

Tonight

Outbreaks of rain will continue across much of the south, east, and midlands. The rain will turn heavy at times with thunder possible, before clearing eastwards towards morning. Drier elsewhere, with just a few showers and some clear spells developing too. Some mist and fog patches will form too. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, with light northwesterly or variable breezes.

Tomorrow

Any lingering rain in the east will clear, together with areas of mist and fog, to leave a brighter day for most with sunny spells and scattered showers. Some of the showers will be heavy and possibly thundery. Highest temperatures of 18 to 23 degrees, with light to moderate northwest breezes.
