National Forecast

31 May 2026 08:20

Today

Generally dry today with a mix of cloud and some sunny spells and just well-scattered light showers. Later this afternoon and evening, thickening cloud will begin to feed in patchy drizzle to Atlantic counties. Some mist too. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, mildest, driest and brightest further east. Southwesterly breezes will be no more than moderate in strength.

Tonight

Dry for a time tonight across east and northeast counties. However, cloudy outbreaks of rain and drizzle will extend nationwide during Sunday night, turning heavy at times, especially for southern counties. Hill, mist and coastal fog too. Relatively mild with lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees, in a mostly moderate southerly wind.

Tomorrow

Monday will begin dull and wet with further outbreaks of rain. Rain will give way to showery conditions for the afternoon as some sunny spells break through. Some heavy showers will follow in the flow too though. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees, again best values further east, all in a mostly moderate west to southwest breeze.
