A mix of clear spells and further showers tonight, some of them heavy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. The showers will become increasingly confined to the western half the country overnight. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in light to moderate west to southwest winds, fresh to strong near Atlantic coasts.

Tomorrow

Cool and breezy tomorrow, Thursday, with sunny spells and showers in the west becoming fairly widespread by the early afternoon. Some of the showers will be heavy, with isolated thunderstorms and hail possible. Highest temperatures of just 13 to 16 degrees, in moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty southwest to west winds, stronger along western and southern coasts.
