National Forecast

11 November 2025 14:52

Today

There'll be further outbreaks of heavy rain this afternoon and for a time this evening, especially across the northern half of the country, with some localised flooding. However, a clearance to sunny spells and scattered showers already in Munster and parts of south Leinster, will continue to gradually extend northeastwards over the course of the rest of the day, with the last of the rain clearing from Ulster this evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with moderate to fresh southerly winds, strong at times in the east.

Tonight

Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells and just isolated showers. While southerly winds will be fresh in northwestern coastal parts, they'll generally be light to moderate, allowing areas of mist and fog to develop. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees, maybe a little lower locally.

Tomorrow

Mist and fog will be slow to clear from some areas tomorrow morning. After a mainly dry start with just isolated showers, cloud and outbreaks of rain will move into the south later in the morning and will move northwards through the day, turning heavy at times. Northern areas will stay largely dry until evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with mostly light to moderate east to northeast or variable winds.
