Heavy showers mostly becoming confined to Ulster, north Connacht and north Leinster later this evening posing the risk of localised flooding. Drier conditions with just isolated showers elsewhere, in moderate to fresh west to northwest winds.


Further outbreaks of rain will push down across much of Ulster tonight, but mostly dry elsewhere with good clear spells and just a few isolated showers in western counties. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in a mostly moderate westerly breeze.


Mostly cloudy tomorrow with patchy outbreaks of rain in the north and west, most likely through the morning. Drier and milder further southeast with well scattered showers and hazy sunny spells. However a band of rain will move in from the southwest to affect much of Munster Thursday afternoon, extending across Munster and south Leinster through the evening, turning heavy at times in the southeast. Highs of 16 to 19 degrees in a moderate to occasionally fresh northwesterly breeze.
